  • 7 v 7 format with goalie (no keeping score)
  • Small field, about 1/3 of a full-sized field
  • Two 25 minute halves plus a 5 minute half-time
  • Currently we have 12 players
  • NO HEADBALLS
  • Goalies – NO PUNTING, Bounce and kick is ok
  • Play time will be as equally distributed as possible

Under 16 (all Home games on Fields 4, 5, 11 and 14, we will travel for away games)

  • 11 v 11 format (including a goalie)
  • played on full sized field
  • Two 40 minute halves plus a 10 minute half-time
  • Away games played at Mt. Carmel and several neighboring cities/counties {we’ve played as far away as Warner Robbins and Thomaston}
  • Currently we have 16 players
  • Play time will be as equally distributed as I can, substitutions are ‘rolling’.  Play time may end up being made up over several games.

The Rules for both age groups are linked in the left column menu.

Other Notes:
Please show up to games at least 20 minutes early (30 minutes for U16).  The schedules are very tight and we must start games on time.

If you know you are going to miss a certain game in advance please let me know.  If you know you are having special guests to
a game (like grandparents) let me know and I’ll try to make sure your
child gets to play as much as possible.

Referees

We will have referees.  The refs will likely be kids (~12 years old), they are in charge.  If you have an issue with a ref, let me know and I will let the ref or their boss know.

Game Day Rules

Parents must sit on the opposite side of the field as the bench (only
Henry County Parks and Recreation background checked and ID’d parents are allowed on the bench side}.  No parents are to be sitting on the bench side of the field.  They will be asked to move.

Parents should stay off the field unless a severe injury occurs.  The refs will stop the game if a player is injured and needs assistance getting off the field.

The League requests that parents NOT to coach from the sidelines. Please allow me to conduct the coaching.  Too much coaching definitely confuses the players.   It also allows the boys to become free-thinkers on the field building their confidence as players.  It also has the side benefit  of not being so hoarse afterwards.

Parents and spectators should try to be cheerleaders for the TEAM.

Dogs are NOT permitted in the fenced area per Henry County.
